Evaluating DSP inventory access
Check whether a DSP can buy the Australian publishers, deals and formats your campaign requires.
To evaluate a DSP's inventory access, name the placements your campaign must buy and check the route, permissions and settings needed to reach them. A channel list or discovery screen does not prove your Australian account can bid on a particular placement or use a deal.
Describe the inventory precisely
Specify the publisher or app, placement, format, device, geography, dates and buying method. State whether an open auction is acceptable or a negotiated deal is required. Essential audience or measurement conditions can narrow eligible opportunities.
Ask the provider to identify the supply source and the account or deal permission required. If the route cannot be identified, record access as unconfirmed.

Check discovery against campaign settings
Amazon DSP's Inventory Hub describes discovering and managing deals across Amazon and third-party sources. Its published availability list includes Australia and self-service users. A deal shown in a discovery tool still needs to be eligible for the proposed advertiser and campaign.
Google's Display & Video 360 help page is titled 'Targeting for YouTube & partners and Demand Gen line items'. Check the actual line-item settings.
The Trade Desk describes audience-first, data-driven targeting using first- and third-party data and a durable identity framework. Request the seller, buying route, deal and format details for your brief.

Work through four access gates
Gate / Evidence to request
- Supply route
- Named exchange, publisher integration or deal path
- Account eligibility
- Seat permission, deal ID and any required approval
- Campaign eligibility
- Supported format, creative specifications, geography and targeting settings
- Delivery
- Available bid, win and impression evidence after activation
The delivery check is a proposed step, not a completed test. Providers may expose different levels of bid and win data. Low delivery can have several causes, including price, creative approval or limited eligible supply; ask what can be observed before diagnosing it.
Record each essential placement as confirmed, conditional or unconfirmed, with the evidence and date. For conditional access, identify the remaining approval or setup step. Compare usable opportunities for the same format and period rather than treating the longest connection list as the best access.
